2. What data we collect and why

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Contact and identity data

When you submit a form on this site (including our body fat calculator, macros calculator, or contact form), we collect your full name and email address. If you identify as a fitness professional, we also collect your company or gym name. We use this information to send you the results you requested, provide follow-up educational content, and respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is your consent, given at the point of submission.

Health and fitness data

Our calculator tools collect physical metrics including age, height, body weight, body fat percentage, skinfold measurements, and activity level. This data is used solely to generate your personalised results. Under UK GDPR, health-related data is a special category requiring explicit consent, which you provide by submitting the calculator form. We do not sell, share, or use this data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Usage and technical data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is necessary for the secure operation of the website and is processed on the basis of legitimate interests.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner displayed on your first visit. See Section 7 for full details.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Deliver the service or information you requested (calculator results, enquiry responses)
• Send you follow-up educational emails where you have consented to receive them
• Improve and maintain the website and our services
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We do not use your data for automated profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose incompatible with what you were told at the point of collection.

4. Email communications

If you use one of our calculator tools and submit your email address, you will receive a results email and a series of follow-up educational emails over six weeks. Each email contains an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by clicking that link or by emailing us directly at andrewmeyer@executivefitclub.com.

We use Resend (resend.com) as our email delivery provider. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf. Resend acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement and does not use your data for its own purposes.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database service with servers located within the European Economic Area. Supabase operates under a data processing agreement and implements industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit.

This website is hosted on Vercel, with infrastructure within the United Kingdom and European Union. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the services you requested. Calculator leads are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — you can ask us to delete your data. We will comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
• Restriction — you can ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Portability — you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They include cookies that remember your cookie consent preference. No personal data is transmitted to third parties via these cookies.

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies from any other provider.

8. Third-party services

9. Children's data

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
